Soil Moisture CCI kicked-off in Vienna (17- 18 January 2012)

The Soil Moisture CCI project was successfully kicked-off during a two day meeting at the premises of the science lead Technische Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria from 17 to 18 January 2012.

To kick-off the new Soil Moisture CCI project not only the 8 partners and ESA but also several key users met in Vienna from 17 – 18 January. The 25 participants discussed the scope and scientific basis of this novel CCI project and also enjoyed the team building activity at a local Heurigen. A motivated team is looking forward to working in the Soil Moisture CCI project.
